I am told that I am a warm, gentle, friendly and very ’normal’ person when people meet me for the first time. My aim is to give my clients a friendly, warm place to air often very emotional problems so that we can work through the difficulties and find practical solutions and emotional relief.
I have my own personal experiences and 15 years of professional practice to draw upon. I love what I do and worked hard to gain more that the expected qualifications and standards for professional practice for counselling/psychotherapy.
I am Person-Centred trained which means that my relationship with you is of utmost importance and I trust that you are the expert on what you experience and that you will choose to tell me what you are ready to say. I won’t pressure you or make you discuss anything that you are not ready to share.

How I work: My priority is to meet the individual needs of my clients, through building a trusting relationship where my clients can feel safe to explore often frightening feelings, relationships and difficult situations. As well as through talking, I can work with images or creatively to explore to enable a change of emotions, thoughts and make practical life changes. I adjust my approach to what is comfortable for each unique and individual client.
